Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data BoomSort ("the App") collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. In short: the App does not require an account, shows no ads, and does not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

1. Data stored only on your device

Progress, statistics, records and preferences (themes, language, audio) are saved locally on your device. They are never transmitted to any server of ours. Uninstalling the App deletes this data.

2. Game Center

If you choose to sign in with Game Center, authentication, leaderboards and achievements are handled entirely by Apple under its own privacy policy. BoomSort never receives or stores your Game Center credentials; it only sends your score and achievement progress to Apple so they can be shown on leaderboards.

3. iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable profile sync, your progress is saved to your personal iCloud account (Apple Key-Value Storage), tied to your Apple ID. This data stays in your iCloud — the developer has no access to it. You can disable sync at any time from the App's Settings.

4. Anonymous usage statistics

BoomSort may send fully anonymous usage statistics via TelemetryDeck (e.g. which modes are played most), to help us understand how to improve the game. These statistics:

contain no name, email, or other data that identifies you;
do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or any other advertising identifier;
are never cross-referenced with other apps or websites;
are never sold or shared with advertisers.

These statistics carry no identifier that could be traced back to you, so there is no per-person data to access, correct or delete: what reaches us is already aggregated. If you would rather the App made no network calls at all, iOS lets you cut off its network access from the system Settings.

5. No ads, no advertising or tracking SDKs

BoomSort contains no ad networks and shows no banners or video ads. It integrates no advertising SDKs, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites, and builds no user profile. The only third-party component that receives anything is the anonymous statistics service described in section 4.

6. In-app purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not process or store any payment data — we never see it.

7. Connections to our website

On launch the App reads a small configuration file hosted on this website. It serves one purpose: if a version of the App ever has a defect that skews scores, we can suspend score submission from that version without waiting for everyone to update. The request carries no account, no advertising identifier and no data about your play: it asks for a file, nothing else. As with any connection to a website, the hosting provider may record the IP address and device type in technical logs; we do not use them to profile you and we do not combine them with anything else.

For the same reason the App may ask the App Store which version is published, through Apple's public lookup API: no key, no account, no identifier sent.

8. Notifications

Notifications are local: your device schedules them, they do not come from a server of ours and they need no data. There are two: the Daily Challenge reminder, which you switch on yourself in Settings, and — only if your version's scores have been suspended — a notice telling you so.

9. Children

BoomSort is not specifically directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. The App does not require account creation and contains no chat or user-generated content.

10. Your rights

Since most data stays exclusively on your device or in your Apple/iCloud account, the most direct way to manage it is through the App's and your device's Settings. For any question about data we do process ourselves (e.g. anonymous statistics), write to the address above.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We recommend checking it periodically.

1. Dati salvati solo sul tuo dispositivo

Progressi, statistiche, record e preferenze (temi, lingua, audio) sono salvati localmente sul tuo dispositivo. Non vengono trasmessi a nessun server nostro. Disinstallando l'App questi dati vengono eliminati.

2. Game Center

Se scegli di accedere con Game Center, l'autenticazione, le classifiche e gli achievement sono gestiti interamente da Apple secondo la sua informativa privacy. BoomSort non riceve né conserva le tue credenziali Game Center; invia ad Apple solo il punteggio della partita e il progresso degli achievement per mostrarli nelle classifiche.

3. Sincronizzazione iCloud (facoltativa)

Se attivi la sincronizzazione del profilo, i tuoi progressi vengono salvati nel tuo account iCloud personale (Apple Key-Value Storage), legato al tuo Apple ID. Questi dati restano nel tuo iCloud: lo sviluppatore non vi ha accesso. Puoi disattivare la sincronizzazione in qualsiasi momento dalle Impostazioni dell'App.

4. Statistiche d'uso anonime

BoomSort può inviare statistiche d'uso completamente anonime tramite TelemetryDeck (es. quali modalità vengono giocate di più), per capire come migliorare il gioco. Queste statistiche:

non contengono nome, email o altri dati che ti identifichino;
non usano l'identificativo pubblicitario (IDFA) né altri identificativi pubblicitari;
non vengono incrociate con altre app o siti web;
non vengono vendute né condivise con inserzionisti.

Queste statistiche non contengono alcun identificativo che possa risalire a te, quindi non esiste un dato personale da consultare, correggere o cancellare: quello che ci arriva è già aggregato. Se preferisci che l'App non faccia alcuna chiamata di rete, iOS permette di togliergliene l'accesso dalle Impostazioni di sistema.

5. Niente pubblicità, nessun SDK pubblicitario o di tracciamento

BoomSort non contiene reti pubblicitarie e non mostra banner o video pubblicitari. Non integra SDK pubblicitari, non usa l'identificativo pubblicitario (IDFA), non ti segue su altre app o siti e non costruisce nessun profilo. L'unico componente di terze parti che riceve qualcosa è il servizio di statistiche anonime descritto al punto 4.

6. Acquisti in-app

Gli acquisti in-app sono gestiti interamente da Apple tramite il tuo Apple ID. Non elaboriamo né conserviamo dati di pagamento: non li vediamo mai.

7. Connessioni al nostro sito

All'avvio l'App legge un piccolo file di configurazione ospitato su questo sito. Serve a una cosa sola: se una versione dell'App dovesse avere un difetto che falsa i punteggi, possiamo sospendere l'invio dei punteggi da quella versione senza aspettare che tutti aggiornino. La richiesta non contiene account, identificativi pubblicitari né dati sul tuo gioco: chiede un file e basta. Come ogni collegamento a un sito, il fornitore dell'hosting può registrare l'indirizzo IP e il tipo di dispositivo nei log tecnici; noi non li usiamo per profilarti e non li incrociamo con altro.

Per lo stesso motivo l'App può chiedere all'App Store quale versione è pubblicata, tramite l'API pubblica di Apple: nessuna chiave, nessun account, nessun identificativo inviato.

8. Notifiche

Le notifiche sono locali: le programma il tuo dispositivo, non arrivano da un nostro server e non richiedono alcun dato. Sono due: il promemoria della Sfida del giorno, che accendi tu dalle Impostazioni, e — solo se i punteggi della tua versione sono stati sospesi — un avviso che te lo dice.

9. Minori

BoomSort non è rivolta specificamente a bambini sotto i 13 anni e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati personali da minori. L'App non richiede la creazione di un account e non contiene chat o contenuti generati dagli utenti.

10. I tuoi diritti

Poiché la maggior parte dei dati resta esclusivamente sul tuo dispositivo o nel tuo account Apple/iCloud, il modo più diretto per gestirli è tramite le Impostazioni dell'App e del tuo dispositivo. Per qualsiasi domanda sui dati trattati da noi (es. le statistiche anonime), scrivici all'indirizzo sopra.
